Even though our minds are still on Paper Towns, we can start getting excited for John Green[1]'s next film adaptation. Next December, Let It Snow—a short story collection with fellow authors Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle—will hit theaters, and it already has potential to be one of your favorite movies of 2016.

Not only did John write the original source material, but Pitch Perfect writer Kay Cannon will pen the script about the trio of Christmas Eve romances. There's no guarantee that singing will be added because of her involvement, but fingers crossed.

Universal Pictures will release the film on December 9, 2016, meaning that there will have been a new John Green movie every year. The Fault in Our Stars happened first in 2014, then Paper Towns in 2015, and finally Let It Snow in 2016. Plus, he has Looking For Alaska somewhere in the movie pipeline, so that could be another addition. Catch up with his many projects here[2].
